The new Toom DIY store with an area of 6,000 m² was opened in Mai 2008 in Leipzig-West. After the old market building had burned down completely in 2006, the CG Group began the construction of the new one at the end of 2007. A modern attractive market building was constructed within just a few months and it quickly became a new favorite among its customers and staff members. Moreover, the developed area was connected to the adjacent sprinkler system with a capacity of 850 cubic meters in order to avoid the risk of fire.
